Signing in and connecting a calendar from the app

For now, signing in with Google or Outlook from inside the desktop app does not bring you back to the app afterwards. Sign in to the app with your email and password instead. If your account only uses Google or Outlook to sign in, use ProjectBook in your web browser until this is fixed.

Connecting a calendar has the same problem. If you connect Google or Outlook from the desktop app and it does not come back to ProjectBook, connect the calendar from ProjectBook in your web browser instead. It is the same account, so the calendar shows up in the desktop app as well.

Why do I see a white screen when I try using the app?

Please refresh the app by pressing Command + R.

How do I stop ProjectBook from launching when I open my laptop?

The easiest way to stop an app from launching at startup is right from the Dock. Control-click the app, hover over Options in the menu, and look at Open at Login: apps that open automatically have a tick next to it. Click Open at Login to remove the tick, and the app will no longer open by itself.

If that doesn't work, depending on your version of macOS, you can also:

• In macOS Ventura and later, go to System Settings > General > Login Items.
• On older versions, go to System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Items. You'll see a list of the apps set to launch at startup.

Remove any item you no longer need by selecting it and clicking the minus button.

Open Settings > Apps > Startup. There you will see the apps that can start when you sign in to Windows. Switch off any app you don't want launching when you turn on your computer.
